Evelina Mroczkowska

Year 9 Tutor, Humanities Teacher

I completed my Bachelor of Arts, with majors in History, Geography and Political Science at Simon Fraser University. I then attended the University of British Columbia to complete my Bachelor of Education. I got a full time teaching job in a private school in Vancouver right after completing my Education degree, and worked there for three years. While there I was the Junior Volleyball coach and closely worked with the student council. I also was the schools Head Provincial Examiner for History.

After getting married I decided to settle in Poland with my husband so I applied to a few schools in Warsaw and was very happy to receive an offer to teach History and Geography at The British School of Warsaw. While here I have completed my Masters in Education through the University of Calgary, specializing on “Teaching Curriculum and Learning”. I have now been teaching at The British School, Warsaw for 10 years, where I continue to teach History and Geography to Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. I am also the Yearbook Coordinator, and have currently become the Secondary House Coordinator as well. On top of all this I have also been an IB examiner for the Extended Essay and Paper 2 Exams in Geography for the past 6 years.
