At Dąbrowskiego, we continue to lead the way as the best provider of high quality Early Years education in Poland. Our outside areas maximise the space to give our students the chance to develop their skills, learn about the world around them and, of course, develop socially by playing games with their classmates. The outside spaces have been set out as a series of learning zones.
Using the outside areas of a school is hugely beneficial for children, helping them to understand and care about their physical environment and learn to be responsible citizens of the future. Working outside the classroom enhances the academic study within the regular class setting. It helps them to understand the passing of the seasons, the life cycle of insects, plants and birds. In the environmental zone, our children can plant vegetables and flowers and see them grow over time. The “Outside Classroom”, a covered area that can be used by whole class groups will enhance the educational experience of every child at Dąbrowskiego. All of the different learning and play zones have been carefully designed to link to the curriculum that we use each day to guarantee high performance learning for all of our students from the youngest section of our school. The road, ocean, woodland and environmental zones are complemented by a new football pitch to develop our physical education programme.
At Limanowskiego, we have seen investment in first-class learning facilities. Our high performing IB students are able to work in their own Learning Centre alongside the Secondary Learning Resource Centre and Library. New books, new resources, new furniture and well-trained staff combine to allow success for students and their families.
The IB College is an important addition to the fabric of the Limanowskiego campus. It is an attractive building that offers multiple opportunities for students in the senior years.
