I have been teaching English to speakers of other languages for over 25 years. I started in Burma in a little international school and then worked with Secondary and Tertiary student at the British Council.
I then worked in a very successful British International school in Bangkok Thailand for 15 years teaching children in Reception and Key Stage 1. In 2006 I moved to the British International school Jeddah in Saudi Arabia where I taught Key Stage 2 and headed the support programmes in both English as a Second Language and Special Educational Needs. I join the British School Warsaw with my husband Louis Bezodis.
My two sons, my husband and I are all very excited about being in Warsaw. After living in the desert for 8 years, we are looking forward to seasonal changes and spending time discovering Poland. I am particularly interested in birds and I am looking forward to the Spring and Autumn migrations.
Highest Quality Learning
To me Highest Quality Learning is believing that every child has something special that can be built upon and although each learning tower may be of different heights, all towers can be higher than previously believed.
WHAT THE STUDENTS SAY
As I am new to the school, I have no idea what the students here will say about me but I know that my old students think I am very approachable and will always find the time to listen to them. They know I am interested in their lives both inside and outside school.
