Year 5 Teacher

I completed my teacher training at Liverpool John Moores University. During my four year course I was able to gain teaching experience in a number of Primary Schools throughout Merseyside.  I was lucky to start work in my first teaching post in Manchester two weeks after graduation.

I enjoyed teaching Year 4 and loved living in Manchester but then I got the travel bug.  In 1998 I accepted a position at the British International School of Cracow.  I knew very little about Poland but decided to take the plunge and give it a try and then move on after a couple of years.  In Krakow I taught a mixed Year 3 and Year 4 class.  I enjoyed living in Krakow and made many new friends.  Two years stretched to three and then three years became four. I moved to Warsaw in 2002 after accepting a position at The British School.  Initially I taught Year 2 at the Bełska site and then at Dabrowskiego.  I later changed year groups to Year 3, then Year 5 at Limanowskiego and now I have returned to Year 3, which I thoroughly enjoy.

Highest Quality Learning

I believe that Highest Quality Learning is the essence of Primary Education.
