    After obtaining Qualified Teacher Status in 2005, I taught Year 2, Year 4 and SEN students in a primary school in London where I also coordinated Out of School Hours provision and Modern Foreign Languages. Following that, I worked as a primary MFL advisor for the Local Educational Authority in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. I have worked in Poland since October 2008. In my previous role I managed the young learners teaching at British Council Poland. I joined The British School, Warsaw in September 2012.

    I graduated from the University of Cumbria with a degree in Primary Education, specialising in Physical Education. I have been teaching in Cairo, Egypt for 4 years and have embraced the rich culture which this country has to offer. Teaching in Cairo has given me the opportunity to teach a variety of children from different backgrounds and allowed me to understand the impact of culture and diversity upon the learning environment.
