After completing a degree in Primary Education, I spent several years teaching at two schools in Essex. The different schools enabled me to gain plenty of experience working with pupils from all walks of life and allowed me to take on challenges early in my career, including planning and leading residential visits and being the subject co-ordinator for Physical Education. Last year, I began a Masters degree in International Relations and, alongside my studies, worked as a supply teacher in both Primary and Secondary schools. This last term I have had a full time role teaching Year 5 and 6, covering for a teacher on maternity leave.
I am excited to be moving to Warsaw and looking forward to meeting you all!
Outside of school, I have a wide range of interests. I am a huge fan of many sports including Formula 1 and other motorsport, football, rugby, tennis, badminton, skiing and squash. My skill level when I play these sports does not always match my enthusiasm! I am also an avid reader of books and film watcher. History is another passion of mine and I am looking forward to exploring and finding out more of the history of Poland whilst I am here.
