This will be my first year working at the British School and my first year teaching abroad. I have been teaching for the past seven years at Father Leo J. Austin Catholic Secondary School in Whitby, Ontario, just outside of Toronto.
I am looking forward to the experience of teaching in Poland and working with students from so many different backgrounds. The majority of my teaching experience has been in the fields of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Geography.

Year 10 Tutor, Mathematics Teacher
I joined The British School in September 2013. I completed Master`s Degree in the scope of Applications of Mathematics at Maria Curie Skłodowska University in Lublin. I moved to UK and completed Teacher’s Training at Southampton University and taught in Secondary Schools in Bournemouth and Poole. After moving back to Poland, I worked in banking and simultaneously completed Postgraduate Studies in Accountancy at the Warsaw School of Economics. Having realized that I miss busy life of a school, I was appointed for the position of Secondary Teacher of Mathematics in The British School.
I like travelling and sightseeing. I always try to spend my holidays actively, visiting places around the world. One of my other hobbies is swimming and used to participate in swimming competitions when I was in secondary school.
Year 10 Form Tutor, French Teacher
I graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Appliqués in Paris and started my professional career as a graphic designer. During this brief experience, I was given the opportunity to lead a 6 month project with children, and their enthusiasm made me realise that I wanted to teach. I obtained the CERPE (French teaching qualification) in 2002. After 2 years in France I moved to the French School of Sofia, and then to the French School of Warsaw in 2006. I met my partner in Poland and have been here for almost 10 years now. I gained teaching experience in various international schools, following bilingual or French curriculums, as well as providing art and drama classes in French. I joined The British School in April 2015, especially motivated by the IB Diploma programme.
