I have been teaching Mathematics as secondary, A-level and IB for 11 years. I graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2005 with a Secondary Education degree majoring in Mathematics. In 2008, after moving and working in London for two years, I additionally gained my British Teaching Qualification (QTS), and continued to teach mathematics and was the Assistant Head of year 10, in a comprehensive school just north of Camden. From 2009, I moved with my wife to Kuala Lumpur where I worked in one of the top British International School in South East Asia, Garden International School, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, A large school of over 2100 students. During this time I was appointed to the role of Assistant Head of year 7.
I joined the British School of Warsaw in August 2012 as a mathematics teacher, but quickly took on the role as Head of Secondary Mathematics until 2016. I have just recently been promoted to Head of Year 10 and 11, and look forward to working once again more directly with the students. The decision to move to TBS Warsaw was a planned decision. I wanted to continue my profession as an inspiring Teacher and work at a school where students were reflective, resilient and determined learners. I have a real passion for being a mathematics teacher and being in the classroom. I relish the fact that students enjoy my lessons and want to learn mathematics.
