David Cox

English teacher, Year 7 Tutor

My teaching career has so far involved teaching both children and adults, as well as ESL and academic English in international secondary schools.

Teaching at the British School, Warsaw is a wonderful opportunity to work for a company which so values professional development.

I love to travel and have recently travelled to Kazachstan, Egypt, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Hungary, South Korea, China, Japan, Portugal, Spain, USA, Canada, Lebanon, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia – that was 2016.

Where will 2017 take me? I need to visit every last country in Europe.

I once met George Takei by accident roaming around the Peace Gardens in Hiroshima.

Highest Quality Learning

To me means going the distance and thinking outside of the box and beyond. In my teaching career I have always valued teaching meaningful skills that are transferable to life’s many challenging situations as well as aiding students to fulfil any kind of assessment criteria. Education to me is not teaching to a test but helping students in their career of becoming fully rounded global citizens.
