I have been at The British School, Warsaw since 2009 and it is the second international school that I have worked for in Warsaw. Prior to joining the The British School, I taught French in the European School in Warsaw and in KSAP (National School of Administration). I have taught Key Stage 2 - Key Stage 5 French and Key Stage 4 - Key Stage 5 Spanish preparing the students to GCSE and IB exams.
I graduated from Warsaw University where I obtained my BA and master’s degree having completed parallel studies in International Relations and French. Later, I completed a course leading to qualifications in teaching Spanish and obtained my second MA in teaching English as a foreign language in SWSPiZ University in Warsaw. I have CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English), DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française) and DELE Superior (Diploma de Español como lengua Extranjera C2). I defended my PhD thesis concerning Francophonie at Warsaw University in June 2014 and was awarded the degree of Doctor Cum Laude.
I am passionate about teaching and learning languages – I believe that learning a foreign language is exciting and can be source of pleasure and surprise. It helps to expand my horizons and understand other cultures. Working in an international environment gives me the possibility of meeting fantastic teachers and students from all over the world as well as using four languages every day.
Highest Quality Learning
I believe that HQL is a formula for both personal and group success in foreign language acquisition. It can improve the motivation to learn and accelerate the students’ learning process enabling them to be the best they can be.
