Our Alumni

Our school community contains more than 980 existing and over 4000 former students. We are very proud of our alumni who have graduated from top universities around the world and are already achieving huge success.

Introduction / Aims of the Alumni

Our Alumni organization is growing all the time, and with it our links to past students is becoming meaningful and a strong entity. We aim to achieve several objectives including:

·         promoting The British School Warsaw (TBSW) and Nord Anglia Education (NAE);

·         encouraging and preserving friendships amongst all former students of the School and                 NAE by facilitating networking  opportunities;

·         participating in events to enthuse current students about life after school and to make                   enlightened choices in their chosen areas of study and career;

·         furthering the interests of the School and NAE in any appropriate manner.

Membership

All ex-students are automatically members of TBSW Alumni. The creation of an Executive Committee to look after the interests of the group will be investigated once sufficient numbers and interest are generated.

Subscriptions

Membership is free, at present. Future costs, if any, will be borne by the members through a subscription system.

Meetings and Events

The Warsaw branch of the Alumni have started meeting on a casual basis every so often during the year, and the London Branch has managed to organize a  first meeting. Hopefully further regional branches, with the same aims and objectives as above, will spring up around the globe in the future.

In December we will celebrate the first TBSW Alumni Xmas Dinner (check the TBSW Alumni’s Facebook group for details).

In June we round off the year with the Alumni vs. Teachers Football Match (details available as above)

Communications

All communications, messages and information have thus far been related via Facebook. To gain access to the group look for the The British School, Warsaw Alumni on Facebook and request access.

The points of contact on Facebook for the School is Jeremy Buss (teaching at the School since 1994). Please do feel free to contact him with any thoughts, suggestions and / or news that you have.

Profiles

We would be very grateful to any of our Alumni who would be prepared to answer some simple questions relating to life after The British School Warsaw – and would be happy for us to post this information here to inspire others. If you are happy to do this please send a short email to jeremy.buss@thebritishschool.pl  and you will receive the short questionnaire to fill in.

Launching the Nord Anglia Education Alumni Network!

One of the great things about going to a Nord Anglia Education school is that you don’t just have friends in your school, you have friends all over the world. Every student is part of our global network of over 32,000 students, and we think that being part of this community shouldn’t stop when you graduate.

Nord Anglia Education has launched an alumni network to help you keep in touch with each other, reconnect with old friends and make new international contacts along the way. The dedicated LinkedIn group allows you to catch up and share news, ideas and experiences, as well as finding out about upcoming alumni events for your school. The not-for-profit community is a good way to find out useful information and discuss further education, gap years and careers, or get updates on market trends. There is also a dedicated area to post vacancies so you might even find a job you like or find the right candidate if you’re recruiting one day!

The group is only open to former Nord Anglia Education students and all you need to join is a LinkedIn profile. Check out the invitation below for tips on setting your profile up today and join the group now.

Zapraszamy! /You’re invited!

We strongly urge all ex-students to get in touch, join the Alumni and maintain links with their ‘Alma Mater’.  You may perhaps discover someone near you from a similar background, and with much in common, who could help you in your professional life or with whom you can simply reminisce about the (good old) days.
