Our Student Council

Our Student Council is comprised of student representatives from each class at Limanowskiego from Year 2 through Year 6.

There are 21 representatives in total plus our Primary Head Boy and Head Girl. We meet with our Head of Primary on a weekly basis to develop a range of ideas as well as plan and drive forward an agenda and set our objectives that are designed to enrich and make better the individual life of students as well as The British School, Warsaw as a whole. We the students create the agenda and lead the meeting.

We believe student leadership is one of the central strands of student achievement and from a relatively early age our students are given the opportunity to develop and practice leadership skills in preparation for their life beyond school. Most of our leadership activities and initiatives involve students and staff working together to find solutions which help to further improve the school over the longer term and for students to develop a deeper understanding of Global Citizenship and their responsibilities to society.
