Richard Riches Profile

History Teacher

I graduated from Anglia Ruskin University back in 1998 with a Ba (Hons) degree in History before acquiring my PGCE at Brunel University in West London. Since passing through my NQT year in 2000, I have worked ata variety of secondary schools in West London before heading off in 2005 to work initially at Kolej Yayasan UEM, an 'A' level college located close to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia before embarking on a seven year stint as head of department at an international school located in Shanghai.

Away from the classroom, my interests include spending as much time as possible with my partner and two year old son, reading (especially literature connected to History) running and playing music.

After nearly ten years of living and working in Asia, I am incredibly excited to be returning to Europe and be working in such an exciting and vibrant city such as Warsaw.
