This will be the Club's first full restoration project. BISW youth prepare to get dirty and have an amazing learning journey rebuilding this iconic aircraft!

Build-A-Plane Club: The Plane Arrived at Washington Executive Airport on Dec. 7th. Students from the Build-A-Plane Club welcomed the arrival of a A Piper Pacer 135 at the Hyde Field, Washington Executive Airport on Wednesday.

This will be the Club's first full restoration project. BISW youth prepare to get dirty and have an amazing learning journey rebuilding this iconic aircraft!

Build-A-Plane has made huge progress since the project was officially launched on September 22nd. They went to different hangers every wednesday learning about different aeroplanes engines. This week, they welcomed a vintage Piper Pacer 135 at the Washington Executive Airport! The students were beyond excited and they are ready for this amazing learning journey!  Highlighting our upcoming collaboration with MIT and the amazing STEM opportunities availble to our students, this project brings BISW students a hands-on learning experience and also provides a wonderful opportunity to meet other STEM enthusiasts.
