Congratulations to all the students who took the IB diploma this year at British International school of Washington! This was the eleventh graduating class and as an inclusive school with the core goal of celebrating personal and academic progress, we are justifiably proud of our growing tradition of excellence at IB and of the remarkable progress our students make.

  • Top individual score was 43 –in the top 5% in the world (the highest possible IB score is 45). 40 is the level of attainment required to gain admission to the world's elite universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard and Stanford.

We would like to commend our teachers for another outstanding year. Your commitment to our students and school is what drives these exceptional academic results. On behalf of the parents and school, we would like to applaud you for always challenging our students to achieve more than what they could have thought possible.
