Physical Education

I am originally from the South of England but chose to attend Worcester University as their degree program gave me the flexibility to study Physical Education, sports coaching, psychology and physiology all linked to the athlete and to the developing child.  I have been teaching for over 10 years and have taught in a variety of schools with a variety of different P.E curriculums.  This has been a great opportunity as it has challenged me and given me the freedom to provide activities that inspire, motivate, enthuse and engage students.

My husband and I moved to the U.S. fives years ago.  We moved over here to take up teaching positions at the British School of Washington, as it was known back then.  I later took a few years out to have our second child before returning to British International School of Washington this year.  We are very fortunate to have both our children attend BISW and participate in the great curriculums we offer along with the warm and welcoming atmosphere the school offers.
