“I am absolutely delighted for the class of 2014 who have worked so hard and achieved so well. This is a distinguished set of results with particular individual successes and a collective average points score of 34 for which we can all share in the pride of success. This year sets the standard for the years to come and with one student winning 45 points what a special benchmark has been set. Congratulations are well deserved,” says Matthew Farthing, Principal of The British International School Bratislava.

The Principal of the UWC Atlantic College in south Wales writes in The Daily Telegraph newspaper on Monday 14th July 2014 comparing such achievement with students taking the A level award: “The academic standard required from IB students is highlighted by the fact that while 45 is the top mark in the IB, a score of 36 will get you into medical schools which require A*s at A-level.The IB has achieved a 45 year legacy of success. The sustained year-on-year achievements of over 1 million students studying in over 3,600 schools worldwide cannot be ignored.”

Certainly, students studying the IB Diploma at The British International School Bratislava cannot be ignored as they move on to top universities worldwide proud to carry these badges of achievement.
