News from PE department

The first weekend of DVAC competition got under way and what a weekend it was!

Our Middle School girls’ football team, largely Year 7s competing against Year 9s, played fantastically well winning two and narrowly losing two to finish second in their respective festival hosted by QSI in Bratislava.

Our junior varsity girls finished second in their volleyball competition, hosted by the American International School of Budapest. Our varsity girls were at the Christian School of Budapest and finished fourth whilst our Middle School boys were playing football at our sister Nord Anglia School in Budapest finishing in a dramatic and unexpected second place.

Finally, a special mention to our senior basketball team who comfortably beat a local team from Dubravaka on Friday evening, and the Senior Boys Football team who were eventual winners of the DVAC festival hosted in Vienna, a tremendous achievement.

In total 6 separate teams competed this weekend, roughly 80 children representing the School. A special thanks to the coaches who led the various trips and to parents for their continued support and encouragement.
