Tim Peake in our English lessons!

In our Year 7 English group we have been following Tim Peake up on the International Space Station.
The European Space Agency is constantly giving out information as to what life is like for the astronauts. Youtube and Facebook provide excellent clips on how Tim Peake drinks water, prepares food, wrings out a cloth, and manages everyday life in the lack of gravity, including going to the toilet!

  • Tim Peake

We were wondering how he managed to have a shower and wash his hair in the lack of gravity and running water, and so we sent our question off to the European Space Agency and actually got a reply, which we thought was really cool.
You and your family can check out Tim Peake and his fellow astronauts at the following sites, and also the location of the space station. The best time to see the space station is next Friday, 18th March at 5.30am, rising at WNW and setting at ENE, it is travelling quickly though, and only visible for 4 minutes!
