Swimming

We have already completed five weeks of successful swimming this term.
In the swimming term nursery and reception children have joined in as well. Our swimming instructors are providing such a good job with little ones. Some of them are receiving 1:1 coaching until they ready to join similar ability group. It is very important at this age that they will build a positive relationship to water and a sense of water confidence. They would learn basic skills like entry, safe exit, how to submerge, blow bubbles and much more because they are so enthusiastic about it.

The other groups from Year 1-4 are progressing continually and developing their swimming skills further. Children are fascinated by learning a personal survival programme which includes different scenarios such as rescuing a friend in need of help, prolonged open water survival initiatives and spotting potential dangers.


It has been a very nice swimming journey so far and I believe the all children are having a wonderful learning experiences.
