  • Learning Approach

Our unique Learning approach recognises your child as an individual. It redefines our understanding of success and inspires every child to be intellectually and socially confident as well as reaching the highest standards of academic success.

  • Global outlook

The British International School Bratislava gathers children from over 45 different countries, which makes us the most international school in Bratislava. Apart from that, we belong to the Nord Anglia Education family of 42 schools spread around the world. We unite our students with students from all these schools through our Global Campus initiative giving them the chance to meet new people, talk to global experts, collaborate and learn about new cultures.

  • Family feel – nurturing environment

We guarantee class sizes which enable your child the best opportunity to learn and develop. Classes are small enough for children to receive individual attention. At the same time the year group cohorts are large enough to provide a range of friendships, backgrounds, interests and abilities.

  • Community involvement

Whilst the school has a ‘family feel’ to it, our students look outwards to where they can make a contribution to the local and international community. This is done through different charitable and service based activities: Eco School, Global Classroom, International Award, CAS, etc.

  • Parental involvement

The school welcomes and encourages parent involvement, with an open door policy for parents. Our Parents Association is very active and is happy to welcome new members throughout the year. If you would like to speak to somebody from your country, our Korean representatives will be happy to help you.

  • Settling in process

We take care to support our new families in their settling in process and also to those mobile families experiencing the pressures of transition when they have to move on. We understand that transition might be especially emotional for children and we do our best to help new children in the school to feel happy and comfortable as soon as possible thorough our Pastoral Care programme.
