Find out how we are helping your child to invent the future on Houston Life. Our collaboration with MIT, one of the world's leading universities in STEAM subjects, challenges students through in-school activities at the British International School Houston.

Catch a glimpse of how our collaboration with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) translates into in-school activities at the British International School of Houston. Our Curiosity Challenge, inspired by MIT researchers and scientists, asked students what topics make them question and wonder. Following through with their curiosity, students explored topics across discplines, from web design and baking, to service animals, and even creating the next Mars rover.

“If you give students trust, if you give them responsibility for their own learning, and you give them autonomy to say ‘this is what I want to learn about’ they never fail to amaze you with what they can do,” said Mark Wilson, Vice Principal of British International School of Houston.

Featured on Houston Life, you can find out how the British International School of Houston encourages students to direct their own learning so that they can succeed in the jobs of tomorrow.
