Seniors, Kemi and Simon, established Walk In My Shoes (WIMS) to address the issues that impact people of color in the United States.

They chose the name to emphasize the importance of wanting to understand more about others' circumstances regardless of the ability to identify with them. Having presented to fellow High School students on topics such as Black Lives Matter, racial disparities amidst a pandemic, and white privilege and allyship, Kemi and Simon hope that students will become more empathetic towards the people around them, and even those outside of their immediate boundaries. #BISCSL #NAEBeAmbitious #DrawnHere
