Collaborative Parenting Group A Huge Success
A group of Early Years and Key Stage One Parents embarked on a journey together as part of our Parent Partnership Series. Mrs Emily Clark, Head of Reception and mother of 2 Primary aged children at BSKL, led the group of 14 parents through a series of 4 sessions focusing on how parenting can be difficult and how to make your way through some of the challenges and difficulties that you can face as a parent. The study group used the book 'Peaceful Parents, Happy Kids: How to Stop Yelling and Start Connecting' by Dr. Laura Markham to facilitate their discussions.

Secondary Science Fair and Year 6 Visit
On Wednesday 1st March we had our BSKL Science Fair. Students from Y7 all the way through to Y13 have been working on their projects since just before the Christmas Holiday and they showcased their work to Y6; a select number of secondary students as well as parents in our exhibition event.

Push-Up Challenge Coming Up
With just a few days to go, BSKL students will be leading the BSKL Push-Up Challenge Inter-House Competition to raise awareness for the mental and emotional well-being of underprivileged children with life threatening illnesses in Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL).

AIMS Athletics in Secondary
On Saturday 18th February, sixty four of our secondary athletes travelled to Alice Smith International School to compete in the AIMS Secondary Track and Field 2022/23. This was the first time the competition had been held for over three years. The BSKL Lions were keen to put the months of training and preparation into action against nine other International Schools from around the region.
