Unihockey rocks at LCIS!

14 November 2014

LCIS host ADISR Unihockey tournament.

We were delighted to host the ADISR Unihockey tournament for categories Minimes (boys and girls born in 2003/2004) and Benjamins (boys and girls born in 2005/ 2006) for the fourth year running. This year was particularly special as we were able to host the tournament, onsite, in our fabulous new gym, equipped with our special unihockey rinks. Thirteen boys teams, and ten girls teams from seven schools ( Institut Florimont, Institute International de Lancy, International School of Lausanne, Ecole Nouvelle de la Suisse Romande, Haut Lac, College du Leman and LCIS) participated in the event, with LCIS competing in three of the four categories. Competition was tight right from the first touch of the ball and all teams demonstrated Fair Play throughout.

The tournament followed a round robin approach with each team playing every other team in their category. The winners in each category were as follows:

Minimes Boys – College de Leman

Minimes Girls - College de Leman

Benjamins Boys - Ecole Nouvelle de la Suisse Romande

Benjamines Girl - Haut Lac

At the prize giving ceremony, Ms Ellis presented the winners with their trophies. They were heartily congratulated by participating teams and supporting parents.
