Parents as Partners - Our collaboration with Joy Marchese, Positive Discipline UK

At LCIS, we strongly believe that we are not just a school, but a family, and we are committed to cultivating an environment in which our parents, students, and teachers act together to make our school the best place for every child to learn, grow, and thrive.

We are therefore very pleased to announce our year-long collaboration with Joy Marchese, founder of Positive Discipline UK. Many of our parents and teachers know Joy from her recent webinars on Positive Parenting, which we hosted during our virtual festival "LCIS celebrates...Wellbeing" last academic year and just before the summer break. We also recently hosted a webinar for our staff to further strenghten and deepen the connection and understanding between home and school. 

Joy’s new ‘PARENTS AS PART­NERS’ programme, which wall of our parents are warmly invited to join, consists of 2 segments, which of course are both free to enjoy:  

1) 10 monthly live webinars hosted on Zoom. Registration links are shared with our parent community via our weekly bulletin. 

UPCOMING DATES

2) the opportunity to access Joy’s ‘PARENTS AS PART­NERS’ online platform, where she will host all recordings, additional videos and other resources, including a monthly live Q&A session for all interested LCIS parents. A signup link is being shared with all parents in our weekly bulletins.
