Adrienne Millar is a graduate of University College Dublin with a BA Hons degree in Psychology. She has a Postgraduate Certificate of Education and a Diploma in Special Educational Needs. She has been a teacher for almost 20 years teaching across all age groups in the Primary school but specializes in KS1. Adrienne is passionate about individualized education and inclusive education for all. She was a SENCo for a school in the UK where the provision for SEN was judged as ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED. She worked for a Local Education Authority as a lead teacher in special needs and an advisor to schools. Adrienne joined La Côte International School in 2010. She is currently the Year 2 teacher, SENCo for the whole school and Assessment Coordinator for the Primary school. Outside of school Adrienne enjoys the outdoor life of Switzerland particularly skiing, hiking, climbing and cycling.
