Sandra Leumacher

Teacher of German

Sandra Leumacher was born in Graubünden in Switzerland and grew up in Milano (Italy), Abu Dhabi (UAE) and Vienna (Austria). She completed her BA Hons in German literature, French and English at the University of British Columbia. Sandra obtained her Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Christ Church University in Canterbury (England) and took up a German and French teacher position at Collège du Léman, Versoix. After ten years as teacher and Head of Department, Sandra took a maternity sabbatical leave whilst completing her Master in Education from the Open University (England).    

Sandra is a passionate life-long learner, striving to motivate students through creativity and innovation, motivating students to learn languages and develop a passion for multilingual communication.
