I was born in the Northeast of the UK where I worked and lived until moving to Mexico City in September, 2010 – where I began working at my first International school. After completing three years in Mexico, I moved to Turin, Italy before beginning my most recent school experience at Brighton College Abu Dhabi. Before teaching, I achieved a BA (Hons) History degree from the University of Leeds, followed by a PGCE. In 2016, I successfully completed my MA in Education from the Institute of Education, UCL.
My passion for teaching and learning has always been at the heart of everything I do within education. I have always strived to ensure that all pupils in my care progress and enjoy learning. Equally, I have a strong passion for professional development and a desire to share best educational practice with my teaching colleagues. I am truly excited at the prospect of joining the team and building strong relationships with the students at La Côte International School.Outside of the classroom, I enjoy a variety of sports such as football, swimming and running. I also have a strong passion for music and like to unwind, playing on my acoustic guitar.
