David is a counsellor and an active member of the American Counseling Association, the American Mental Health Counselors Association, the International Association of Counselors, and the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors.
David holds a M.A. in Counselling from Northwestern University, a B.A in Psychology from the University of North Texas, as well as a J.D. law degree and M.B.A. from the University of
Cincinnati. He has worked with adults, adolescents, children and families in inpatient treatment facilities, community health organizations, International schools and in private practice.
David is American and a trailing spouse in Switzerland having been married for 24 years. He has been the primary parent for the past 13 years to a boy and two girls, now adolescents. He started working at LCIS in April of the 2016/2017 academic year. He also works in a private practice in Mies (Canton of Vaud).
