Basketball

The boys played well given 11 of the 12 have never played in a game before. We had an opportunity to play in the top 4 play-off, losing a very close game to Seoul Foreign School. Overall it was a great experience for the boys.

The girls finished second after pool play and ended up 4th after the play-off which is the best result we had in the tournament overall. There was some very high-class play on the girls side. Our starting 5 was 1: Lily Watanabe, 2: Laura Ferrer Del Pra, 3: Pheladi Tshehla, 4: Sabrina Zhang, 5: Adi Sagi.

Football

The boys just missed the play-off round, winning one, losing one, and then drew against the eventual winners of the tournament Dulwich Suzhou 2-2. Some great goals by Herman Palmgren, Sidney Masuke, and Hannes Goranson.

The girls were in a very tough pool and did not qualify for the play-off round. However, some great or should I say amazing play in goal by Zuzanne Drabrowska. On the scoring front Pheladi Tshehla.

We had 28 students in Hong Kong over the weekend, one of the largest teams there. The U15 FOBISSEA team voted Sidney Masuka and Pheladi Tshehla as team Captains. The team is wearing their U15 FOBISSEA t-shirts today in school. If you see them please congratulate them on a great tournament as well as the way they represented BSB while at the tournament.
