Risk taking behaviour in teens, what to look for and how to help?

10 April 2015

22nd April.  Free Seminar offered by The International SOS Beijing Clinic.

  • SOS

Although it can be a stressful reality for parents, adolescence and risk-taking go hand in hand. This is because teenagers need to explore their own limits and abilities, as well as the boundaries parents set.

In this seminar, Dr. Stephanie Teoh, Family Physician and Child specialist, will cover several different types of dangers, including illicit drugs, alcohol and sexual risk behaviors. She will also explain how to address these issues with teenagers and help them to minimize harm.

For parents and teens alike the transition to adolescence can be stressful, but support and advice can help navigate this tricky period.

Date: 22 April 2015

Time: 10am-11:30am
