Wonderful Yunnan. Climbing to 2800metres today.

10.5 KM covered. 100% of students finished the Tea Horse Tiger Leaping Gorge hike!! Awesome effort Year 10!

Checked in to the Tea Horse guest house, students relieved to have finished and take a hot shower.  Tomorrow we head along the trail to the half way house and head in to the gorge itself.

The Tea Horse route is as old as the Silk Road. It use to take 6 months to cross the pass for the tea traders heading to Tibet. They were under constant threat from landslides and bandits! Today Year 10 had only their own demons to defeat!

Update from Mr. Chris Planchant, Head of Year 10
