I hope all our Primary families had a lovely weekend. We are of course so very pleased that today we are able to welcome more than sixty of our Year 6 students back to school – and we look forward to doing the same next Monday with over one hundred Year 4 and 5, GK3 and GK4 students.
Term 3 Reports and Parent-Teacher Consultations
Students in Nursery – Year 6 will receive their child’s Term 3 report on Friday June 12. Parents will also have the opportunity to discuss their child’s recent assessment results as well as their Term 3 report during the optional Parent-Teacher Consultations in the final week of term. Further information about the optional Parent-Teacher Consultations will be sent to parents when Term 3 reports are issued.
House Virtual Eco-Challenge Results
Congratulations to all of the students who took part in our recent House Virtual Eco-Challenge. There have been some truly amazing submissions which can be viewed in the wonderful compilation video which Mrs Cannon put together and which has been posted on year group Seesaw pages – if you have not yet watched it I suggest that you take the 6 minutes required to do so as I am sure you will enjoy it very much.
The overall House winner of the challenge was . . . NORMANS! Congratulations Normans and well done to all the Normans’ students who contributed to their House success in this challenge.
2020 BSB’s Got Talent
As Ms Robinson explained in the virtual assembly, submissions for our 2020 BSB’s Got Talent video will close on Sunday this weekend. We have had some amazing submissions and a very high rate of participation so well done to all those students who have been ambitious and had a go. Before the end of this term Ms Robinson will share the 2020 BSB’s Got Talent video with the whole school community and I know it is going to be an excellent showcase of the depth, range and quality of performing arts talent in our Primary school.

OverDrive- our online library
Now is the perfect time to access OverDrive with your child and borrow a book through the Sora App. We have over 1000 titles, including fiction, non-fiction, audio books and read-alongs. Once you have downloaded the book to the app, you do not need to use Wi-Fi to read it. The advantage of BSB’s online library is that you can access it anytime, anywhere! Please use the following link and click on the first image to access a video on how to use the Sora App- https://www.nordangliaeducation.com/en/our-schools/beijing/shunyi/article/2020/2/21/bsb-ebook-library-makes-reading-easy
