I have a BA in History of Art and a MPhil in Social Anthropological Analysis both from University of Cambridge, Fitzwilliam College, U.K. I received my Post Graduate Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability from Middlesex University, U.K. and my TEFL Diploma from BridgeTech, USA. I am also a Registered Qualified Test User (RQTU) by the British Psychological Society.
I first moved to Asia in 2008 to live in Nanjing, China. In 2010, I started working in International Schools and have had the pleasure of working with a full range of student ages and abilities, from Kindergarten to A Levels. I left Nanjing in 2014 to move to Bangkok but missed living in China, so I am thrilled to be able to take this opportunity to continue to do the work I love at BSB Shunyi in 2016. I am looking forward to meeting my new students and helping them to develop their skills to overcome all challenges they face.
I am from the UK and my family live in North Cornwall. I miss the sea but really enjoy the excitement of living in big cities and exploring the world. In my spare time I like learning new languages, doing yoga and listening to Hip Hop and Dancehall music but my favourite hobbies are eating new food and hanging out with my dog. My only aspiration is to leave the world a better place, in whichever way I can.
