Year 7 Exhibition with Robert Nemecek

12 December 2014

On Tuesday 9th December at 18.00, Year 7 students were honoured to meet with Robert Nemeček at an exhibition of their work in the school library and IB room.

Robert Nemeček is a well-respected Slovak artist and came to the school to view paintings that were inspired by a visit to one of his exhibitions.  Sixteen students had been shortlisted to exhibit their work and Mr Nemeček awarded three lucky finalists with prizes of his own artwork.  Our Year 7 students gave a short presentation and were treated to a slide show of the artist’s work.  It was a lovely evening and we were proud that Robert Nemeček took such an interest in our work.
