Early Years Trip to Zelezna Studnicka

23 October 2015

This week Early Years children had a beautiful autumnal walk in the local park Zelezna Studnicka.

The ground was damp after the heavy rain earlier in the week, which caused the itinerary to change a little, but we did go for a walk into the forest to look for the woodland fairies! There was a lot of evidence that the 'fairies' were close by, ribbons and fairy dust marked the way for us. At last we found their woodland home! The fairies had left us a note and some fairy dust and we left them the pine cones that we had decorated in class earlier in the week.
We walked to the lake and fed the ducks then walked to the shelter to warm up with some hot chocolate and marshmallows before playing with our friends in the playground.
Thank you to all the parents who helped out during the morning!
