Visit of the Slovak writer for the children

30 November 2017

The Y5 Slovak class had a visit from a Slovak children’s author, Mrs. Andrea Gregusova, who has written a popular book: Operacia Orech.

The Y5 students were so excited about her visit and had prepared lot of questions to ask:

Why did you decide to write for the children?

Which characters from the book are real?

Did you choose the illustrator of the book?

Did the publishers want to change it a lot?

Will you write a sequel?

What’s going to happen in winter?

The pupils brought their own copies of the book and the writer wrote a personal note to every student.

Mrs Gregusova was very pleased with the mature questions of our students and we all enjoyed our chat.
