Tea party for fairies

27 September 2017

Year 1 and Reception children have had a magical time creating lots of things for the fairies that live in our woodland nature.

We invited them to our school for a tea party and some goodies e.g. roasted marshmallows, popcorn and biscuits. They learnt how to serve tea made from herbs. The children’s imagination was ignited with the thought of searching for fairies. To their amazement, they made a magic wand and spread the fairy dust (glitter)… everywhere. The children enjoyed all of the activities very much. They demonstrated lots of perseverance, cooperation and collaboration but, most importantly, they had fun.
