Iveta Higgins

Year 2C Teaching and Learning Assistant Year

I have been passionate about teaching after graduating from University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra. My working experience ranges from teaching pre-school children all the way up to teaching adults. I have enjoyed working at various private bilingual schools in Bratislava as well as being self-employed. I have taught mostly English, but also had a chance to teach Math, Science, Social Studies, and Ethics.

My family is very important to me (my husband and two teen-aged sons). We love spending time together, serving at our local church CityLight, travelling, getting to know new people and their cultures and nature, especially our walks in the forest with our two huskies. I love flowers, coffee and good music.
