Andrea Sopuchova

German Teacher

My original career path was as a secondary Modern Languages Teacher, teaching German, French and Spanish.

I completed my MA in French and Spanish at Comenius University Bratislava. After finishing my studies, a move to Germany enabled me to also learn German. There I gained a GDS (Großes deutsches Sprachdiplom) certificate for German for Level  C.2  from the Goethe Institut and a Diploma from Ludwig-Maximilians-University München.

My passion for working with children and the possibility to become part of an international teaching environment led me to apply for this post at BISB, where I have worked since 2014 and it has also given me the opportunity to develop further as a primary teacher.

I like to spend my free time with my family and friends, going cycling or to run and explore the countryside, mountains and cities of a new area. I love books and enjoy reading whenever possible.
