Slovak For Foreigners

After finishing my Master’s Degree in Teaching English and Literature combined with Psychology from Comenius University Bratislava, I started to work in, at that time just recently opened, British International School Bratislava, it was in 1999. I have worked here for 8 years teaching, apart from other commitments, also a newly established subject Slovak Studies. Having spent 7 years away on maternity leave, I returned back and accepted a position of Primary Librarian in combination with teaching part-time both in Primary or Secondary.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My two lovely children keep me busy and sporty as we go cycling, hiking, skiing. My biggest hobby, obviously, are books, so I am really enjoying my working place now.
