In the Secondary School our Counsellor aims to help students achieve personal growth and acquire positive social skills and values as they move through adolescence. In order to achieve this she provides services to students, parents and school staff in the following areas:
- relationship building skills with peers, parents and teachers
- time management, organisation and study skills
- anger management
- stress management
- anxiety reduction
- identity development
- management of peer pressure
Our Counsellor has links with professionals and organisations outside the school and can refer students in cases where more specialised or long-term support is necessary.
Students may self-refer or can be referred by their parents or teachers.
