Mrs Silvia Bechara

Primary and EYFS Music Coordinator

I started my Music pathway at the age of 9, when singing in my church Choir. A few years later, I started to learn how to play the acoustic guitar, and when I became a teenager, I fell in love with the electric guitar. I gained my undergraduate degree in Music Education and also got a Master’s degree in Music at UNESP (State of São Paulo University).

Despite being a teacher, I am also a guitarist, playing in some rock bands, and also working at my home studio, composing and recording music.

I have worked as a Music teacher since 2009, and I can say teaching music is my passion. I joined BCB Music Team in 2015, and have been working on promoting a meaningful Music environment, and also helping students to start or further develop their musical knowledge. I have also been running extracurricular activities such as the Choir and the Rock Band, and since 2018 I have been also coordinating the Primary Music Department.

In my free time I love to travel, cook, go to the park to play with my daughter and spend time with my family.
