I was born in the countryside of São Paulo state, in a city called Ribeirão Preto, and I moved to the capital in 2010, where I ended up settling down and starting a family.
I love to travel and in my travels, I always try to experience a little of the local culture through gastronomy and art. When I can't physically travel, I do it through books and movies.
I also value my roots and being with my family gives me moments of peace, pleasure, and a lot of love. Love that only increased with the recent arrival of my son.
As an educator, I consider myself an eternal student. I am always looking for new ways to teach and I try to improve my practice more and more.
I have a degree in Pedagogy and a Masters in Education from the University of São Paulo. After this, I entered the Languages course for a second degree and deepened my studies on the teaching of the Portuguese language and its literature.
I am passionate about different cultures and working at BCB allows me to get in touch with many different customs and cultures, which is incredible. I have been part of BCB´s family since 2014 and since 2016 I have been the coordinator of the Portuguese department.
I believe that learning reading, writing, and speaking in a language is not only important for good communication but, besides this, it allows students to become citizens capable of reflecting and changing the world in which they live.
