Music Teacher

At BCB, I have the opportunity to teach Music through a range of experiences. And it is amazing to learn from pupils as well. Sharing our different musical cultures and knowledge provides a very rich environment.

I am graduated in Music Education and also have a master's degree in Music from UNESP (Universidade Estadual Paulista). My research was about music and technology, investigating the interactions between young music students and music cyberculture in Facebook social media and its implications for the field of music education. I am passionate about research and as a teacher I am often studying new ways of learning music.

Before starting working at BCB I have taught in brazilian public schools and also private bilingual schools. I have worked as well as a guitar teacher, encouraging and organising students performances. These experiences gave me the opportunity to teach music in different contexts and also learn a lot from students' culture.

I play the electric guitar in a rock band, and I like going to concerts and listen to music. I have a little daughter and I love spending time with her and my husband in the weekends. Travelling is my passion! My favourite cities in the world are Rome, Florence and Barcelona.
