When you visit Northbridge, you will be stepping into a warm, welcoming and positive environment where everybody supports one another to succeed.
Northbridge International School Cambodia is a community that supports our children’s learning, growth and development. Our community includes students, parents, teachers, support staff and caregivers. We are fortunate to have such a diverse and involved community dedicated to this common interest. In our school community, culture is both what unites us and what makes us different. There are students of more than 32 different nationalities in the Northbridge student body, with as many or more cultures represented.
Each one of us brings something special and unique, adding to the collective culture of our school. We speak different languages at home, have different customs and hold different viewpoints on the world. We eat different foods, celebrate different holidays and call different countries home. We share all of these differences with the other members of our community. As an international school, our differences are what unite us and bring us together as a community.
This is what makes us an international school. Our unique international school culture is made up of all of our families, teachers and support staff. We all contribute something to create a culture that is uniquely Northbridge. Our culture helps to create students who are internationally minded and culturally aware. It is to be celebrated!
As an inclusive school, Northbridge International School Cambodia encourages all learners to take risks – to try things they are not certain they can accomplish. We support students in setting their own goals and challenging themselves to be better, go farther, and learn more in the process. Northbridge is a school where we want students to achieve more than they thought possible. This challenge to improve is reflected in the approach we take to admissions, grading, and even our Diploma Programme exams. At Northbridge, we see the potential in each individual child. For some students to be successful, they need additional support until they develop the skills and attitudes to be independent. Northbridge provides academic and emotional support in the form of English as an Additional Language (EAL) teachers, Special Education Needs (SEN) teachers, school counselors and a school nurse.
