Each team sport season lasts approximately 7-9 weeks, not including school holidays. At the end of each season, athletes participate in a Mekong River International Schools Association (MRISA) sports exchange. Swimming, however, lasts the whole year long and the students take part in different local and international swim meets.

All competitive sports teams also participate in matches and tournaments with local schools in Phnom Penh as part of ISSAP (International Schools Sports Association of Phnom Penh). Local matches provide an opportunity to maximize student participation, improve skills and gain experience in competitive sport.

Northbridge International School Cambodia believes in developing the whole athlete from basic skills to competitive play. Coaches at Northbridge International School teach the fundamentals of the games and seek to give athletes the necessary confidence to develop their skills. However, learning on the court extends to the social necessities of sport instilling in teams the importance of good sportsmanship and teamwork. Northbridge International School Cambodia embraces an approach that emphasizes participation and positive attitudes above a win-loss record.

For our primary students there are a variety of  After School Activities (ASA’S) and YAPP which serves as the groundwork to develop our up and coming athletes.
