Students visit the Tamedia printing house and 24Heures newsroom

5P students visited the Tamedia printing house in Bussigny on the occasion of the school’s “media week”. They discovered the different stages involved in the production of a newspaper: storing paper, printing text and images on plates and the work of the impressive rotary press, sorting area for the distribution of newspapers in kiosks and other outlets.

A few days later, 10 students selected among the three classes, were able to visit the 24Heures newsroom and discovered their offices and could ask questions. It was their turn to interview the journalist Cécile Collet about her job. A nice souvenir for our attentive, motivated and curious journalists.
