The role of education in a fast-changing world by Andrew Fitzmaurice - Chief Executive Officer of Nord Anglia Education

As borders become more porous, and countries become more intertwined in politics and trade, people’s sentiment towards globalisation has also shifted. In my latest Huffington Post blog, I discuss how international schools are in a unique position to prepare students for the challenges of globalisation.

  • Our role in a fast-changing world

Our schools do a fantastic job preparing our students for the challenges that globalisation brings. In my latest Huffington Post blog, The Role of International Education Amid Growing Anti-Globalisation Sentiment Post-Brexit, I highlight the values that we instil in our students such as communication, collaboration and building cultural awareness. These are all qualities that bridge gaps in an increasingly fragmented world.

Our Global Campus, which connects our 43 schools around the world, is just one example of how we instil these values and help our students see themselves in a global context at an early age.

I believe this topic is very relevant to our times, and shows what we, at Nord Anglia, are trying to achieve for our students, people and schools in our fast-changing world.
