In April, a group of 8th grade students visited the MIT (Massachussetts Institute of Technology), in Boston, for the MIT-Nord Anglia STEAMFest. Students showed their knowledge of STEAM subjects (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) to the teachers, researchers and students of the MIT. A once in a lifetime opportunity that gave them unforgettable memories: “every day was a new adventure and a new occasion to learn interesting things. I can’t choose a day or an activity which I preferred!” says Jaymie, 8B. “I had a lot of fun and I learned many life lessons as well as many things about leadership and team building. I would love to do it again, but I know that I can’t, unfortunately”, says Colin, 8B.
Thomas, 7A, says he “recommends this trip to students who like experiences, science and travelling”.
